As an airline Pilot I regularly visit the most impressive cities in the world.
My interest in urban scenes as well as the effects of an everlasting time shift drag me out into the night of the cities. In this way I can create impressions of urban life in Shanghai, Hong Kong or Chicago. Most of my picture are made with a concrete plan and rarely by spontaneous inspiration.
In addition to my loud and technical job I continously move into nature. This contrast can be seen in my works dealing with forests or empty beaches. While the urban scenes are impulsive and imposing,  the nature photographs reflect vastness and tranquility.
